Hello everyone, I am so pleased to find this forum. I found a discussion via search engine on KS2/KS3 transition. Recently I went on a course delivered by Kati Szeless from CILT on progression and transition and went home really depressed at the lack of progress in joined up thinking re transition issues. (Our 45 Y6s went to about 20 different schools last year; the idea of cluster groups hasn't really worked in Bristol. I don't hold much faith in transition units either.) Jo, I agree with everything you said in your evaluation....but notice this was in 2008. Does anyone have any new news on this topic to give me hope?! Thank you!
