Just a short one to let you know that I have just uploaded a scheme of work for Reception and KS1 which was produced by a consortium of Sunderland schools
I've used many of these resources myself in workshops for KS1.
I notice you mention `Barnaby Bear goes to Brittany'; I actually was responsible for putting together the first TTS MFL catalogue. The range has grown enormously since then though I am still associated with TTS; in fact you'll see a brief piece about me inside the front cover!
Anyway, enough of that! You need to warn your teachers that Barnaby Bear is a bit out of date; it features francs rather than euros!
The big book is produced by The Geographical Association (incidentally a couple of mistakes in the French too) and has not been updated since it was first printed. I've told them about it- they hadn't known and were rather taken aback! All a bit lax I think considering the book costs around £20!
