November 5th - Harry Potter an the Exploding text
Hi everyone.
If you are looking for an idea with some whizz bangs and explosions for Thursday you could try using or adapting materials I have posted at souffler.co.uk
It might look at first sight that the text is too hard for Primary age kids but I think you would be surprised at how much they could understand if you teach them the tools to be a Language detective and 'decode' a text. Plus they get to have a go at a Powerpoint that has lots of loud bangs!
You just take the idea and adapt it to some much simpler text and change the language too.
