 Ready for April Fools Day?

  • Want to find out more about the origins of 'le poisson d'avril' - then check out this wikipedia entry or this explanation from FranceTravelGuide.
  • Ready to cut out your own fish to play pranks with? Try fete-enfants or momes.net or tete a modeler
  • Or maybe your class are ready for something a little more creative? Try this wonderful make'n'do expanding card from Bonjour les enfants to make a fish with a bite - the instructions are all in French so divide the class into groups and challenge them to work it out..
  • And for the really talented try to work out what naughty pranks these children have been up to on momes.net
  • or try sending an (rather cute) prank email from ptitclic.net

Like these ideas Jo - wish I was in school to use them on 1 April but there's always next year..!

Have you seen the Vertbaudet site, too? A poisson d'avril to print or colour online, a simple recipe and a few ideas for jokes to play at home! http://www.vertbaudet.fr/page/poisson_avril.htm
