Talkabout Primary Languages

A network for all who teach languages to children

Have been looking at links that we have across the world and found out that we had 36 'links' to different countries in y56- based on holidays/ relatives/ where clothes are made/ things we buy etc and wanted to show the children where all these countries are in the world. Found this great little site- interactive map of the world. Write the name of the country and click and it finds it for you. Quick and visual- only got 15minutes on the clock. Thought it might be useful!

Can you name the countries?

No worries but must tell you that got to school today and the site  was 'blocked' by our firewall! I don't know why and my whole lesson had to be changed at the last minute. I had checked before lesson started which was a very good job- more luck than judgement but......
