jane solloway Primary Language Networks in Milton Keynes

I thought people might appreciate bit of background to what's going on in Milton Keynes in the realms of Primary Languages! 2 years ago the local authority made some money available for Primary schools to set up Networks to promote the teaching of Modern Languages amongst themselves and in conjunction/with support from the feeder Secondary schools. Jo Rhys-Jones RSG - Mixed age classes & differentiation - Thurs 14th June 2007

Looking forward to our (Devon South) next RSG meeting with Maggie Peacock and Alison - who will sadly be attending for the last time before she decamps to Switzerland. (I am sooo jealous Ali!) Jenny Smith will be there too in her role as PLC.

Alison and Maggie are planning to bring along lots of materials to hand out for group and pair work. The idea is that this sort of activity takes the pressure and spotlight away from the classteacher for a while, freeing them to work with
