Been making some Interactive Whiteboard resources and thought I'd share a few with anybody who may be using the same software. I will eventually transfer most of this to powerpoint too and will add it to the post for those who don't have an IWB / compatible hardware. Thanks to… Continue

Below is the voicethread I just started with a series of images and ideas for how this fantastic free (for schools) tool can be exploited in the primary classroom. I am a newcomer to voicethread myself but I know Lisa Stevens and other members use it a lot in really imaginative ways, so please add ideas that you know or pop into your head too - by just clicking on it. Comments can be made using a microphone or by typing (click the 'A'). This voicethread is public because I would like everyone

I spent last weekend at an eTwinning conference in Nottingham at the NCSL. (The place is so cushy, it almost made me think it'd be worth going into Senior leadership just to get to visit often!!) Added by Lisa Stevens on November 1, 2007 at 11:00pm — 1 Comment
Before you get the wrong end of the stick, this post will not be all about how to teach transport in French, Spanish or any other language for that matter. The title refers to the many modes of transport I used this weekend in my travels to and from the Isle of Wight for the… Continue

Les Stevens have just spent an action packed two days in France - including the stiffest possible test of my ability to communicate in French when my OH managed to leave his travel wallet (containing our money, his credit cards and our passports) on a bench in Montreuil-sur-mer - have you ever tried talking your third (possibly fourth) language through… Continue
