Multilingual Online karaoke Christmas

Here is another quick and fun five-minute stocking filler of a site. Click on http://www.ylw.mmtr.or.jp/~johnkoji/hymn/xmas/ and you will get a long list of famous carols. I was trying to put together something on this and courtesy of the Sunderland MFL Christmas resources site put together this Smartboard Notebook file. It includes a Connect4 game to play with the pupils in teams as they try and memorise what they have learnt as they read the info on the screens.

The Penguin Show - in any language!

Here's a quick free and fun game for a starter in the classroom. Go to http://www.star28.net/snow.html and type in a short message or item of vocabulary in French / German / Spanish / Italian / Polish (or whatever) and then either email it to your self or click save on the url. Then at the start of your lesson paste the url (or open the message) and get the class to predict what the penguins are spelling out!
