Sing Spanish Phonics

Since my change of role in September, I have a lot more spare time, and have been filling some of it in the last couple of weeks making up some songs to help my KS2s with their phonics in Spanish.  So far I've done one for the "j" sound and one for the "th" sound.  You can download them and accompanying resources here (scroll down to the bottom of the page).

Translation Nation- a project!

Have just been sent this link from a colleague who received it via Michael Rosen. It starts from a Literacy focus,but it is 'a celebration of the languages spoken by Primary Children'.

Translation Nation inspires primary school children to explore literary translation and develop an appetite for international storytelling and a curiosity about world literature.
