Our kids are into Halloween BIG TIME, so I decided to cash is on this and link it to a festival which is very important in Mexico. The first lesson has been watching video of how it is celebrated in Oaxaca, followed by learning Halloween words and a song from Espanol Espanol with extension of researching how it is celebrated. I did a smartnotebook to go with this.

For the last couple of weeks, I've spent my lunchtimes getting rather hot and bothered rehearsing three dance routines in Spanish with a group of Key Stage 2 pupils at WCPS in preparation for an excting challenge.
Only a few days left now until the Isle of Wight Conference this weekend.
