Would you believe that I started uploading this yesterday afternoon- was losing the will! Have split the powerpoint into four parts to make it quicker to upload but.....hope it doesn't take as long to download! Would have given up but it became a matter of principle!!! Have sent my kids to playscheme so I can do some work- much to their disgust. Have done a powerpoint of Juanito to use in September -images scanned from a book and text mainly from qca. Have blogged it… Continue
Class Panda has been studying vocab and describing people recently, and they drew some exceptionally cool monsters in the process. I want to keep a record of this type of work for both the students and myself, so I have set up a wiki for each of my classes; giving each student a page to keep any projects they do. Hopefully the students will enjoy the process and see their own development over time. Also, I have set up a wiki to collect… Continue
Yesterday I was lucky enough to catch up with Tracy Adams, a Devon Primary Languages Consultant who is currently working with Chris Wakely on 'Take Ten En Español'. This handy pocket-sized resource with accompanying DVD and Karaoke CD will be out later in the Autumn term - and not a moment too soon for those of us who have already come across… Continue

They are loaded onto the music player of my main page and can be downloaded in mp3 format. My first stab at this so apologies for any poor quality!

I have already put some links to this singer on the site. I think she is a really good composer for children, she has a strong message to convey about children's rights, and her songs would fit well into any work schools might do on this theme. I am adding this song to the site "Enfants des Rues" as a strong example of what she does. The mp3 was downloaded for free from We7.com. Listen to these songs on my page

Here is the powerpoint I have been using at our recent Devon Regional Support Groups, minus a few videos of children from our schools as we have not obtained permission to use those on the Internet. But I have put in the links to YouTube and TeacherTube videos, and of course Mr Gorse's wonderful Gorseville Euro 08. RSG's are run across the country in most LA's and are usually free to attend. To find out where your nearest one is,… Continue
