Profile Information

I will/do teach the following languages:: French, German, Spanish

I teach these year groups;: Reception, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, mixed year classes

About Me:: Originally a Secondary MFL teacher for over 10 years, I retrained to teach in Primary in 2004 and now teach a mixed whole KS2 class. I've introduced French and we also do a summer half-term 'taster' course in another language (so far German with a football theme, and Spanish with a food theme).
Until September 08 I shared a whole KS2 class with the Headteacher in a tiny Devon school, but now have a temporary one year post as Primary Languages Consultant in Hampshire -woohoo!!
Another update - as of 1st April (I know I know) have become Languages Adviser for Hampshire until ...well until the standards fund runs out I suppose!

Got Theo Kutchel and Leon Cych coming to video me teaching next week (between performances of school plays so may be a disaster!!) trying to write an article for Primary CILT e-zine (they'd better put it in this time - still haven't forgotten!!) and Isaac was sick out of the car window this am so got a sick kid too!!
