I am a secondary teacher too and no doubt we will have lots to share.
Feel free to visit my blog, http://isabellejones.blogspot.com , where I am putting together an ever-increasing collection of language links and articles, hopefully both useful to primary and secondary.
Welcome to this networking site. I hope you find it useful and do please post things here whenever you want. Tell us what you've been up to in a blog post, ask general questions/start discussions in the forum or just click directly on members to chat or ask specific questions to people.
We welcome each other's comments on the forum discussions andyou can make your own blog pages whenever you wish; At the moment all blogs get automatically posted onto the Main page but if you are new to blogging and want to try on your own page without this happening just click on me and leave me a message.
You should be able to download materials from forum and blog posts too, and of course add your own in the same way as you would an email attachment - just follow the instructions on screen.
You probably know this already, but just in case - to contact someone just find them in members and click on them. This takes you to their page and tells you a little about that person. Then just leave a message for them in a comment box like this one. Or, if you'd like your message to be private, click on 'send a message' beneath their picture.
Ocasionally you will get messages asking if you would like to be someone's 'friend'. The only advantage to this is if you want to find someone quickly on a large network, otherwise there is really no need and you can happily ignore the request or click 'decline' with no offence to anyone.
I hope you find the network useful.
Best wishes, Jo
