I am currently in my final year at Uni in Plymouth and will be qualifying as a primary school teacher next June. I am trying to do research for my dissertation based on using ICT to develope MFL in the primary classroom so any information would be a great help!

Hi Maria
Just noticed I didn't reply to your question! Not video conferencing per se but I use Flashmeeting to communicate at home. Tried once at school but had issues with the server allowing it! However, RSG session soon about video conferencing so will let you know what i learn ;o)

Hi Maria
I see you are in Plymouth - and I've only just left that part of the world - missing it already I admit.
Welcome to Talkabout by the way. ICT in MFL - have you checked out Joe Dale's blog by the way? - or better still see if you can make it over for his conference on the IOW - there are several teachers who come from Devon so you may be able to get a lift.
But seriously - Joe's blog is well worth investigating. Also Lisa is a big user of ICT in her classroom - even uses twitter - and has another blog - Vamanos that might be of use to you too.
Good luck and let me know if I can be of any help at all
