I am a secondary teachers who goes to one of our feeder primary school once a week. I usually teach Y4 about 45 minutes a week and I also do some projects with Y6 in small groups-either Gifted & Talented or students who will join us the following year.
From September 2008, I will be teaching Spanish only to Y6 and 5.
This is my blog! I have included lots of resources for languages on it and I also have many del.icio.us bookmarks about primary languages accessible from the site.

Hi Isabelle,
Many thanks for your link to your resources and kind offer of help. I am sure I will be taking you upon this at some point.
Kind Regards,
Joan Cullen
Thanks for getting in touch. I am a teacher in a secondary school (French and Spansh) but I am currently on maternity leave and meanwhile thinking of retraining to teach at primary level. That's why I am interested in this site as it may help influence me in this decision.
Hi Isabelle,
thanks for your friendly and helpful welcome! To be truthful I logged on here and I haven't accessed it since - I'm sure this will change as we get into the new school year. The site looks like it will be very useful - as do your blog! Thanks again!

My name is Lorraine & I'm passionate about keeping German alive & well as an MFL. Now I know you don't do much with German these days- or has that changed?
I started a sub-group- Prima Kinder and was looking at resources which we might review. I know you do a blog which I understand includes German. Could you find time to put up some ideas/ resources? You might have to join the group to do so?
If there are no resources out there we're never going to persuade schools & heads to do German, so I'm keen to encourage those with an interest to push ahead with German. We'rea very small minority at the moment
Hola Isabelle!
I´m working in a shanty town outside Lima, Peru and I am teaching English to children of different ages 5-11 and some adults. I noticed a message about some Easter resources that you have translated but I don´t know how to find them. There is nothing at all here so I´m making it all up as I go along, some help would be fantastic!!! Where do I find the ideas, are they on your blog, can´t find them?Muchas gracias, Mim
Thank you very much for your kind welcome. Actually, I have to create a French curriculum for our primary school. So I am looking for all informations about french curriculum in primary schools.
Thanks for your message. Actually I am looking for some powerpoint to order food and drinks in a restaurant/cafe. My Year 5 and 6 classes are going to Spain and France and I need to prepare them with this vocab. Do you have any French and Spanish pwpts on ordering food and drink or even easy role-plays?
