I will/do teach the following languages:
Spanish
About Me:
After teaching for 19 years , 5 of which were in Madrid, I gave up my part time job of class teacher to follow a new path- that of Spanish Teacher in two schools. I'm loving the challenge and the fact that I can devote all my time preparing and developing lessons and activities for ONE subject- that I love- rather than trying to do the normal 11!
I teach languages to these Year groups:
3-6

Tate gallery - Picasso

Happy New Year to you all.

Have just been looking for resources for Picasso to use with my schools and I have just come across the TATE gallery website- lots of ideas for Picasso and other artists. If anyone has any ideas for Picasso/ Spanish I would love to hear from you.

Hola Helen, Just checking if you'd received my translation and doesn't seem to have been sent. So here is my draft copy of Cenicienta playscript. Bear in mind I've only been learning Spanish at evening class and on my own so there may well be grammar mistakes with constructions I haven't come across yet or better ways of saying something - I did just a straight translation of the German. Still it gives you a starting point.
CENICIENTA
EL/LA NARRADOR/A : Soy el/la narrador/a
CENICIENTA: Me llamo Cenicienta
EL PRINCIPE : Soy el principe
HERMANAS FEAS: Somos las hermanas feas
LA HADA MADRINA: Soy la hada madrina
N: ¡ Soy intelligente!
C: ¡ Soy bonita !
P : ¡ Soy guapo!
H F: ¡ Somos mandón !
H M: ¡ Soy amable!
N: la escena primera- "En la cocina"
C: Soy triste
H F : Nos limpias los zapatos!
C : Si

C: No puedo ir al baile grande
H M : Si puedes ¡aqui es una vestida!
C: ¡Ahora no soy triste !
H M : No olvida! Haces volver antes de la medianoche, en la casa !
C: ¡Soy felice!

C : ¡Soy muy felice !
P : Quién es?
H F: No conocemos ¡ ella es guapa !
P : Quieres bailar?
C : ¡Vale!
N : Han bailando , desde la medianoche-
Dong! Dong! Dong! Dong! Dong! Dong! Dong! Dong! Dong! Dong! Dong! Dong!
C : Hago ir en la casa –Adios!

Hi Helen, Have you seen Boardworks' new Primary Spanish product for the whiteboard? Apparently you can get it on free evaluation off their website... if you've seen it, is it worth a shot?

Cheers,

Lucy
