Hi again!
I really agree with you about the German gap. I'm afraid it probably isn't just your LA - it's the whole country... It's very hard to find good resources for german too, so let me know if you come across anything and I'll do the same. I've always wanted to try and do a term/theme around a German version of the Pied Piper story but never got around to it, or found the right text - I need a nice simple picture book.
Anyway time I was in bed! Roll on end of term!

Hi Geordie Wannabe!

Welcome to our friendly group. I hope you find it useful too and I am looking forward to sharing ideas and resources with you. You may be intested in the links to the resources I have on my blog for French and German. To find the links, go to My Languages then scroll down to a long list of keywords to the right (delicious tags), just click on the relevant keyword to get an updated list of links to resources e.g. French... You can filter for just Primary resources by clicking +primary once in del.icio.us to get a list of French Primary or German Primary resources only.

I hope it is of use...

Hi Geordie Wannabe - does that mean you want to be a Geordie, or you are a Geordie wanting to be a star? or are you both already???
Welcome to Talkabout anyhow!

Hi Geordie (what a superb username!)

Welcome to the site which I hope you find useful and friendly.

Occasionally new members find their email boxes filling up quickly with automated messages sent by the site - so to stop this happening you might want to check the 'My Settings' just beow where it says Hello Geordie Wannabe (top right) and then go to 'emails' and untick all the boxes. If you have any problems please leave me a message and I'll be more than happy to help out.

I see you teach KS1 - well done you! Does this mean your whole school does German and French?

Looking forward to sharing ideas with you - Jo x
