What an interesting portrait, Chris. Where was it taken? Would be a great 'starter' for a lesson ....!

Hi Chris - while I'm waiting to find out if I can get your typepad blog to post automatically into your blog page here, on the left of this column, underneath 'About Chris Fuller' and 'Forum' you should have a couple of boxes that say they won't show up for you unless you edit them. One of these should be an RSS feed reader so maybe try putting your typepad rss url into that and clicking save...
Not ideal though so will get back to you as soon as I can.
Hope you are having fun back at school - I'm not back till Monday nah na na nah nah.
(Hey you going to BETT by the way?}

Hi Chris - Congratulations by the way!
Will log on to typepad thing asap but need to spend day with the kiddies today and was preparing for Inset last night sorry. Spoke to Head who is very excited and may be able to persuade another local footie-mad Head to join in too. Very exciting! Jo

¡Hola! Gracias por ser mi 'amigo'.
Look forward to having a proper look at your blog / website when life is not quite as manic. From my qick nose last night, there's lots to glean from it!

Hi Chris - can not send you messages now for some reason, so hoping this gets to you. Weds am. anytime really is fine - I have to shoot off at 12 so earlier better for me really. I have the whole class at that time but some will be popping out to work with other staff/visitors and it's always a little mad - well you'll see! Look forward to meeting you in person. Ps Head says have you got any books about camping in Spain?!

What better motivation for pupils than knowing that if they do a bad piece of work then no longer will they be able to hide? Assessment for learning? Increased parent involvement? Increased independence? Improved quality of work- do not doub the effect that it will have on the level your pupils work at. Try telling a group that their work is gogin on a special site, just for them, and listen to their response!!!

Not heard about slideshare.net - will investigate asap. I like the idea of sharing the work instantly with parents. I've been having a little trouble at school arguing the cause for a class blog or similar - one member of staff is insistent we can just post good work on our website. Thanks for the tip! Jo

All levels, at primary level I often just do short bits of recordings with them, or een take posters or any written bits they do, scan them and then make a powerpoint to put online with slideshare.net The parents LOVE it

Oh and I just read/listened to your interview on Joe Dale's blog - wow! Do you do this stuff at all levels or mostly secondary? Jo
