Quick way to enter accents in any programme is to download free Shortkeys Lite programme http://www.shortkeys.com/download1/skeylite.exe
We have this on our network and teach all our students to use this as for most comment accents ie acutes, you just type e then the number 2. grave accent type e plus 5

re accent shortcuts - I bought a mouse mat from Linguascope to help me. I remember all the Spanish ones, but there are more in French and as to German, I need the mat :o)
