Talkabout Primary Languages

A network for all who teach languages to children

Just received this message from Jamie at Languagenuts and having checked it out I really like the new stories - especially the fact that there is an English translation that you can toggle on or off (use the speachbubble icon below the story) as well as togglong the actual text. Also when the text is read it highlights word-by-word very smart!

Dear Jo,

We are very excited to announce the launch of our first stories!Fully interactive, beautifully presented and tailored to your teachers' needs, our stories are magical. These stories fully integrate the wonderful vocabulary, including connectives, verbs and opinions, that populate the games in the languagenut site. We aim to have 24 stories complete in French, Spanish and German by September.

Hundreds of schools have happily subscribed to languagenut on the basis of the games alone. Then they got songs. And now stories! We know how delighted they are to keep receiving new additions at no extra cost. And at £80 per year, consensus is that languagenut is exceptionally good value. We intend to keep it that way. If, like many, you are concerned about leaving your teachers and schools with lasting resources over the coming years, please get in touch. We are currently offering exceptional LA deals that can secure access to languagenut for up to 5 years. Including all new developments.

Finally, remember that all schools can access all of our fantastic resources for 2 weeks for free via the free try link on the homepage.

Thank you for your ongoing support.
Best wishes
The langaugenut team

Thanks for sharing Jo, and, like Helen, Languagenuts is new to me too.

However, take care as the 2 French games pages I looked, Conkers and Hair and Eye colour, both had mistakes on them.
Just seen the bit you mean ' marrons' - I'll let them know - there is a contact button and they tend to fix things immediately

Just emailed Jamie and he said you'd been in touch Barbara and have 'fixed' it already - fast work!
