Talkabout Primary Languages

A network for all who teach languages to children

Hello I was hoping to use this story with a Year 4 class but can't get hold of a copy of the French version anywhere at the moment. It seems that every where I've tried is out of stock at the moment. Does anyone know of anywhere where I might be able to find an online version of it (like the northumberland online stories type of thing?).

On a completely different topic, I've got a lovely powerpoint about aliens (French) which worked really well with a Year 6 class to teach parts of the body. I'm new to this site and don't know if there's anywhere on here where I can share my resources?? I'd love to share and swap to save people time!! If anyone could point me in the right direction, I'd be grateful!!

Merci!

No problem Lorraine - I'm only too glad to be of help! This website has been an invaluable source of support over the past few years and I myself have benefitted from other members' generosity on several occasions so it's only right and proper that I should share too!

Jayne you're a real star! Thanks for uploading these files. it takes ages to collect all the pictures I know.
I recently tried my own version - based on Michael Rosen on YouTube. I added suitable pictures to the Smartboard and tried it with my Reception classes - - not always the easiest! Went down well with one, less so with the other. Can let you have my notes if it helps? Jo

Joanna, I would love your notes for this story for reception.  (I'm actually thinking of using it for year 5!  But haven't made my mind up yet)

Many thanks.
