A network for all who teach languages to children
Permalink Reply by Katell Tapé on March 13, 2012 at 14:33 Sorry I am not quite sure how to do this! This is now a copy of the Year 2 ICT quizz with answers for teacher at the back. Numbers appearing at the end of each questions correspond as to where to search on the online site for the paragraph with the answer. I have to go now but please let me know if it does not work...I will try to upload more material when I next have the time.

Permalink Reply by Katell Tapé on March 15, 2012 at 9:02 These are copies of the Year 2 and Reception booklets, Year 1 ICT activity that the teachers used with the year 1 classes. NB The uploaded Reception booklet as info on La galette des Rois from last year's French day booklet (for some reason) as the event had been organised in January then.
The Art teacher worked on Seurat and Matisse paintings with the children using Pointilling technique. They reproduced a portion of a chosen painting each. The teacher then put them together to reproduced the original and displayed them in the corridors next to a copy of the original. (Hope this makes sense!).
I will email details of the books I used for the extra activities done in the class later on ( Ileft them at home!)
Permalink Reply by Katell Tapé on March 15, 2012 at 9:19 Please find attached the Powerpoint of the first hymn sang during the French assembly. I made this to help the children learn it for the big day. The last page as just the little icons representing the words to help the children recall the hymn during practice.
Next is the powerpoint I was intending on using during the actual assembly (The projector did not work on the day!). It contains both hymns.
I also put a copy of the text I cut and rearranged from the book Rumble in the jungle. It was used as part of the show the children put on.
