I know it's probably a bit early but I wonder if anyone knows of any websites that have got resources for Christmas using different languages. I have found some by searching google but thought that there may be some out there that you have used and would recommend. I know there is a great French one with an interactive advent calendar but have no idea what it's called. Any help would be appreciated.
If anybody lives/works in or near Manchester or Hereford- I'm doing an LSG in both places very soon on Winter Festivals. Checkout www.primarylanguages.org.uk for dates and venues under Regional Support. Mainly for French but some German, Spanish, Italian and Multilingual; all activities are adaptable for pretty much any language.
www.linguafun.eu usually offers free access to their Christmas online resources;
there's also a fun, interactive Advent calendar on their site, which the children can access from home as well, which is great. I've set my y5 & 6 French group the homework based on that today and the children are looking forward to it :)
Drop them a line, we've been dealing with them for over 3 years and we found them very friendly and helpful.
