Talkabout Primary MFL

A network for anyone teaching languages in Primary

Hiya All

I know it's probably a bit early but I wonder if anyone knows of any websites that have got resources for Christmas using different languages. I have found some by searching google but thought that there may be some out there that you have used and would recommend. I know there is a great French one with an interactive advent calendar but have no idea what it's called. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Merci! That's the one! Brilliant! Thanks Jan! Don't suppose there's an equivalent in any other language is there?

Hola Helen.
Presume you're looking at Spanish resources?
Having no work at the moment this is just what I've been working on at the moment-have uploaded a German Ppt about the Christmas tree on Prima Kinder and I'm in the middle of one on pere noel for French, so have found some good sites for those-Goethe Institut good too. What's the Spanish equivalent?
Anyway here are a couple of sites I came across
http://www.schule-bw.de/unterricht/faecher/spanisch/unterrichtsmate... more for teachers
http://www.cucurrucu.com/la-navidad-en-espaa/ haven't looked in detail at this yet, just 'bookmarked it' but seems to be for 'kids' and has list of other sites for infantil primaria
http://www.escuelai.com/spanish_magazine/navidad.html seems more suitable for KS3 but useful for info.
Will post my French stuff when I've finished.

Thanks for those Lorraine- will have a look at them today-hopefully. Not sure what the Goethe Institut is? Am I being thick? Will look at probably steal your powerpoints too, if that's okay. Will look for prima Kinder site. Thanks again Lorraine. I will upload any that I do.

Google 'petit papa noel paroles' and you should find them.

Oh good ones Victoria.
I have the words to pere noel on my Ppt I'm making. Will really have to learn how to import audio files.

That would be brill! Don't they upload like 'normal' file? Have never tried.
