Thanks Lisa - maybe I should have explored a bit before posting my question!! Will have a proper look later -It's nice to know there are people out there who can help! Nicky
I found some Powerpoints and good ideas on the Sunderland Learning Grid.
Also, a teacher asked me if I knew "Feliz Navidad" the song (didn't) but googled it and found great clip of early 70's singer (blocked in school though). It's in Spanish and English and very easy for kids to sing along 2.
If you can access "Espanol Espanol" there are several Spanish Carols on there 2.
Sharon, that's great - thanks very much - you learn something new every day, don't you - I'd never heard of it but Wikipedia says it's one of the most played Christmas songs around the world!
Sharon - thanks for the pointer to Jose Feliciano- I did Feliz Navidad with Year 5 with maracas and sleigh bells and they loved it and were singing it as they left the classroom!
Just blogged how to use The Snowman in Spanish French and German courtesy of Hertfordshire GfL - http://lisibo.blogspot.com as well.
And uploaded some presentations to Slideshare that might help too! www.slideshare.net/lisibo
