Baseline Assessment Primary French

Hello,

 

I am about to begin a new post as a Primary French specialist in an international school.  We have been asked to assess all children from Years 1- 6 within the first couple of weeks, so that we will be able to show progress.

 

Does anyone have any simple assessment tasks I could use?

 

I was thinking of asking them to talk about themselves and their family for Speaking and to write about themselves for Writing (only those that have some previous experience of French - some will be coming from French speaking countries others won't have any experience of French).

 

Any other ideas or ideas for Listening and Reading.
