Talkabout Primary Languages

A network for all who teach languages to children

Hiya All

I have been asked to an after schoolclub for a group of year 3 and 4s in one of the schools I do Spanish in. They have only been studying Spanish since October. It is only going to be a 10 week block and I am thinking of doing 'Spain.' I know it doesn't sound very different but  I don't want to do the same areas as we do in the normal lessons. I thought, if we do Spain, we could then make passports, look at artists, weather, music, getting there, food, etc. If anyone has any ideas that have worked well I would love to hear them.

Many thanks

Helen

I came across a school in Great Barr who'd had people in from THE CUSTARD FACTORY to teach flamenco! Might be worth a try x

That sounds fun and local too- will look them up! Thanks Sharon.
